Dawamiey processes account, workspace, billing, support, device, notification, and optional attendance/location data to operate the platform.
Workspace administrators control much of the business content and employee data inside their company workspace.
We use service providers such as hosting, payment, email, push notification, analytics, and support tools when they are needed to deliver the service.
Users can request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal data by contacting Dawamiey or their workspace administrator.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Dawamiey websites, web applications, mobile applications, payment pages, support channels, and related services. It also applies when a company creates a workspace and invites employees, contractors, administrators, or guests to use Dawamiey.
Some information in a company workspace is controlled by the company or organization that created that workspace. In those cases, Dawamiey acts as a service provider or processor for the workspace owner, and the workspace owner is responsible for deciding what data is added, who may access it, and how long it should be retained.
Company and workspace data: company name, departments, teams, employee profiles, invitations, roles, permissions, policy documents, announcements, projects, tasks, weekly reports, calendar events, support tickets, and uploaded files.
Attendance and location data: clock-in and clock-out records, work mode, attendance status, and location data when the workspace enables location-based attendance features.
Communication data: chat messages, calls, screen share metadata, notifications, support messages, comments, mentions, and related attachments.
Billing data: subscription selections, payment requests, invoices, coupon usage, billing contacts, payment status, and limited payment metadata. Card numbers are handled by the configured payment provider and are not stored by Dawamiey.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, operating system, app version, logs, crash diagnostics, performance data, cookie identifiers, and security events.
AI feature data: prompts, uploaded or referenced workspace content, generated responses, feedback, audit logs, and action approvals when AI assistant features are used.
3. How we use information
Provide, secure, maintain, and improve Dawamiey and its mobile applications.
Create workspaces, authenticate users, manage permissions, and support company administration.
Deliver attendance, leave, project, reporting, calendar, chat, notification, billing, support, and AI assistant features.
Process subscriptions, payment links, invoices, coupon discounts, payment confirmation, and account activation.
Send operational messages such as invitations, password resets, notifications, support updates, reminders, and billing messages.
Detect abuse, prevent fraud, debug errors, enforce legal terms, and protect users and workspaces.
Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to improve product reliability and usability.
4. Legal bases and business purposes
Depending on where users are located, Dawamiey relies on one or more legal bases or business purposes: performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing a business platform, compliance with legal obligations, consent where required, and instructions from the workspace owner.
For employee data inside a workspace, the workspace owner may have its own legal basis for collecting and using that data. Users should contact their employer or workspace administrator for workplace-specific questions.
5. How information is shared
Workspace access: administrators and authorized users may access data according to roles and permissions configured by the workspace owner.
Service providers: we may use vendors for cloud hosting, storage, email, push notifications, analytics, payment processing, security, support, and error monitoring.
Payment providers: payment details may be shared with providers such as Stripe or manual payment processors to create payment links and confirm payment status.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, fraud prevention, or protection of rights and safety.
Business transfers: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide Dawamiey, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Workspace data is usually retained according to the workspace owner's settings, instructions, subscription status, and backup practices.
Certain records, such as invoices, audit logs, payment events, security logs, and support history, may be retained longer when necessary for accounting, compliance, security, or dispute resolution.
7. Security
Dawamiey uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. These include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where configured, token-based sessions, audit records, backup controls, and monitoring.
No system is perfectly secure. Users must protect account credentials, use strong passwords, keep devices updated, and notify Dawamiey immediately if they suspect unauthorized access.
8. Privacy rights and choices
Access, update, or delete profile information where product controls allow it.
Ask the workspace administrator to correct, export, restrict, or delete company-controlled workspace data.
Contact Dawamiey to request access, correction, deletion, export, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where those rights apply.
Opt out of non-essential marketing messages by using unsubscribe controls or contacting us.
Manage browser cookies and local storage preferences through the Cookie Policy page and browser settings.
9. International transfers
Dawamiey and its service providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections and vendor due diligence.
10. Children
Dawamiey is a business platform and is not intended for children. Users should not create accounts or submit personal data if they are below the age required to use business software in their jurisdiction.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through the service when appropriate. Questions or requests can be sent to support@dwamiey.com.
